Description

The truly unconventional broadcloth is a traditional product of Alpine cloth manufactories. It is practical, considered robust and therefore most suitable for everything often grabbed for, e. g.  the hand puppet Mister Horacek. But, as always, a lot needs to be done before there can be any playtime.
First the cloth needs to be washed, then the templates have to be applied and fastened, all parts need to be cut, rivetted and finally carefully sewn together with a sewing machine. In a last step the head is to be stuffed with Oeco-Tex Standard 100 cotton wadding and the main feature is to be applied: the eyes. Now the head can be moved into different positions to express its proprietor’s mood. Here is the story of Mr. Horacek.
